Hey guys!
It's been a few days since I last wrote. I just completed my 'travels' and I'm on the bus on my way to school for the next month. Although I'm sad that the fun is over, I'm excited to settle in to city and have a living arrangement. Last night I landed in Sweden from the UK, went through customs, and found my hotel. From there I settled into bed when I saw the news that there was a terror attack on the London Bridge last night. A place we had seen multiple times throughout our trip. My heart and prayers are with the families who were affected by this tragedy but also for the people of London during this time.
Throughout our time in London we had our ups and downs. London is a very expensive city and definity enjoys their differences from other areas of the EU. This was obvious when we had to go through customs for the first time since entering the EU. They also have different adapters than the
EU nations and they drive on the wrong side of the road. Nonetheless, London is a city built on history and culture. The people of London, their soft spoken and melodic accents brings something to the city that I don't feel in the states.
So some of the highlights of the last few days was seeing the Book of Mormon. I've been dying to see it for ages and it was just as good, if not better than I could of imagined. Marie won tickets and we bought the last one. We all enjoyed sitting on the front row as the cast kept us on our toes for 2 hours.

We also went to afternoon tea at Jamie Oliver's restaurant, Barbecoa. It was just a thing you have to do when you're in London. It is expensive, but totally worth it. Below is the link if you're ever there and interested.

The shopping in London is incredible, however the pound makes the exchange rate a little tough so just something to be aware of during your stay. Carl, Marie, and I all had the opportunity to shop while we were there a little bit. I'm in desperate need to send some of my clothing home. I packed a little too much.
The best thing about being my age is being able to travel on a budget. We were able to make meals for 8 pounds a night, which saves money and is so much fun. Although, eating out is part of the experience, if you are traveling on a budget with friends making salads or eating bread and cheese is a great evening meal to share.
This is the part of this letter where I thank repeatedly Carl & Marie. Carl, thank you for getting Marie and I through London in one piece. We would of gotten lost a million times without you. Thank you for finding our living arrangement and always being there for a good laugh. I wish you all the best at Mercedes and hopefully i'll see you in the states.
Marie, thanks for being like a sister to me for the last two weeks. Who would of thought after three years we could rejoin and be just as close as we were when we left high school? I wish you all the best at Luftansa and finishing up your degree. Hopefully we'll continue to travel together until we are old because you're the best travel buddy I've ever had. I will miss you so! hopefully see you next summer.
alright that's all i've got for now. Hopefully when I get to Jonkoping I won't be homeless. Until the next adventure :)
