Tomorrow will officially be one week here at Jonkoping. I am FINALLY getting the public transport down and I have made a few friends. I have enjoyed the class so far and the staff is doing an awesome job at allowing us to truly experience Swedish culture.
Today we took a trip to three cities outside of Jonkoping. There were two castles along our stop and a cute town. It was all in all a great day. I have found myself needing to find things to do, which is typically not my style. I normally am okay doing activities by myself or hanging out in my room. I'm starting to think it is the lack of exercise that has me craving activities constantly.
tomorrow morning i'm going to try to go to church and then do some school work. Tuesday we have a company visit with IKEA in the distribution center here.
This post is kind of boring and just contains pictures for the most part. Here's some of my friends and what we've been up to:
Wednesday night we participated in a 'bar crawl' with the university.. kind of weird, and not like anything you'd experience in the US, but tons of fun!
There was this cat on the wall, so we had to take a picture:
Worshiped at this church on sunday. The service was in Swedish which gave me some time to practice my meditative prayer. I'm not very good at it, but it's awesome to sit with people who are worshiping and worship along side them.
